Volvo T6 Roadster Concept 2005 posters

Volvo T6 Roadster Concept

Volvo might just be the surprise contender in a new competition with the handcrafted hotrod based on its own components and a twin-turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine. Every detail was assembled by its creator entirely in his garage with his own tools, consisting of only original Volvo parts. Cylinders from the S80 alongside a 5-speed Geartronic transmission power the rear wheels while a deck lid opens when the engine bay gets too hot from the engine's power. The custom frame was hand-shaped and contains S80 elements, C70 spindles, and a shortened S60 steering rack. ABS brakes, as well as six-piston calipers and 330-mm discs, control the 8.5-inch and 10-inch front and rear 20-inch and 22-inch wheels, supported by carbon-fiber leaf springs and Ohlins remote-reservoir shocks. Inside, the driver will find all-familiar Volvo items like the seats, steering wheel, and instruments, along with a custom-crafted instrument panel to house the gauges in the middle.
