The Aston Martin V8 Vantage, which was met with great acclaim upon its launch at the Geneva Motor Show in 2005, sees a selection of technical updates, ensuring it remains one of the world's most desirable and thrilling sports cars. While the iconic, prizewinning design stays the same, the car now includes a new 4.7L power unit available for the Coupe and Roadster models, and offers increased power and torque, alongside revised suspension, improved Sportshift™ transmission software and a range of new 19" alloy wheels.
The 4.7 litre V8 enginehas an output of 420bhp, a rise of 11% from the 4.3L engine, and provides peak torque of 470Nm, a 15% increase. This provides the V8 Vantage with greater power and a 0-60mph time of 4.7 seconds, with a maximum speed of 180mph (288kph). The European fuel economy and CO2 emissions are also 13% better with the Sportshift™.
The internal changes include a new centre console, redesigned switchgear and an ECU that has replaced the original V8 Vantage key. All of these advancements combine to create an even more remarkable experience.
