Audi S4 Avant
The Audi S4 Avant is part of the B6 platform S4, which was released in 2003. It was available in three bodystyles, namely the S4 sedan, the S4 Avant wagon and the Audi S4 Cabriolet convertible. It was powered by a 4.2 L, 40-valve V8 engine derived from the A8, producing 344 PS (253 kW/340 hp). This powertrain made it more powerful than the S6 Plus and RS2 and nearly rivaling the B5 platform RS4's performance.
Road test results indicated that the B6 S4 can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and hit 200 km/h (124 mph) in 20 seconds. As usual, it was offered with a six-speed manual and Quattro transmission with Tiptronic as an option. Eventually, it was replaced by the B7 platform S4 in 2005.
