With its extended length of 5,091 millimetres – 87 millimetres more than the 5-Series Gran Turismo – plus an unchanged width of 1,902 millimetres and a lowered height of 1,538 millimetres (21 millimetres less), the new BMW 6-Series Gran Turismo has an elongated proportion. Coupled with a flowing roofline extending to the car's rear, this athletic form is further accentuated by a long bonnet, recessed cabin, wheelbase of 3,070 millimetres, and doors without frames, culminating in slim windows along its back.
