Buick LaCrosse CXS
Buick has upgraded its 2008 LaCrosse line with a new face inspired by the Velite convertible concept, offering a more distinctive front end, four new exterior colors, and increased standard equipment across all LaCrosse models. A chrome exterior appearance package, factory remote start feature, XM Satellite Radio, telescoping steering wheel column, redundant steering wheel controls, dual-zone climate control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, theft deterrent system, illuminated vanity mirrors, and driver information center personalization are just a few of the added features now included. The LaCrosse CX is powered by a 3.8L V-6 engine, while the performance-oriented LaCrosse CXS now offers a 3.6L V-6 with variable valve timing to generate 240 horsepower. And the recently announced LaCrosse Super features a V-8 engine and portholes, and can reach 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds. All models are manufactured at GM's Oshawa 2 Assembly, the highest-ranked North/South America manufacturing facility for the past two years, according to J.D. Power and Associates.
