Chevrolet Uplander 2005 posters

Chevrolet Uplander

The Chevrolet Uplander is a minivan that came as a replacement for the Venture and Astro models. It was introduced in 2005 and is based on the same platform as the Saturn Relay, Buick Terraza, and Pontiac Montana SV6. However, the Uplander has some features specific to it, such as the integrated child seat in the LS model and two wheelbases in the US market, as well as a cargo version. The suggested retail price for the minivan varies between $21,250 to $33,795, depending on the chosen options. Furthermore, it is also exported to Canada, Chile, and Mexico. Under the hood, the Uplander is powered by a 3.5-Litre High Value 3500 LX9 V6 that produces 200 hp and 220 ft·lbf of torque. The minivan is assembled in a plant near Atlanta, Georgia. However, GM announced in November 21, 2005 that the Doraville, Georgia assembly plant - where the Uplander is made - will be closed in 2008. When it comes to its styling, the Uplander mimics the ‘crossover’ styling trend with its elongated front fascia and shares some of its general look with the previous generation of minivans. It also has a standard MP3 CD player inside its cabin.
