The 2014 R/T Shaker model of the
Challenger adds a fresh shot of heritage to the lineup with its muscle-car inspired design. Emulating the original Challenger R/T, the modern version features a Satin Black hood scoop that "shakes" with the powertrain’s movement. This iconic hood-mounted scoop draws cold air directly into the 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8 engine, providing over 400 lb.-ft. of torque. Aside from the nostalgic value, this also results in improved airflow and performance. Additionally, an elegantly featured "Shaker" badge can be found under the hood, directly paying tribute to the 1970s original.
For peak performance, the Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker is equipped with a driver-selectable sport-mode powertrain calibration, performance-tuned suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, steering calibration, Super Track Pak, high-performance steering gear, brake linings, and three-mode electronic stability control (ESC). Plus, it comes with P245/45R20 Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Car three-season tires – or all-season performance tires at no extra charge.
