Kia Motors' U.S. design studio revealed its latest vehicle, the Kia KV7 Concept, at the 2011 North American International Auto Show. The concept car was designed to be a modern-day "activity MPV" that stands in sharp contrast to traditional MPV designs. Chief Designer Tom Kearns stated that the KV7 was intended to “embrace the box” and deliver an exciting and alluring SUV-like design to the MPV segment. The concept car takes a step away from the wedge-shaped noses and dramatically raked windshields for a design that is unique and inviting.
