Mercedes-Benz E43 AMG 4Matic Estate
The newest edition of Mercedes-Benz family is the E43 4Matic Estate, world premiered with the new E-Class Estate. This all-rounder packs 295 kW (401 hp) 3.0-liter V6 biturbo engine with shortened shift times, rear-biased AMG Performance 4Matic all-wheel drive, and more sporty interior and exterior. This model brings out the highest level of driving performance expected of the AMG brand.
Tobias Moers, Chairman of Mercedes-AMG GmbH, explains that the new E43 4Matic Estate adds a very versatile option for business and recreation to the expansive portfolio of 43 models. Performance wise, engine output has been increased to 295 kW (401 hp) with two larger turbochargers and improved software. This results in peak torque of 520 Newton metres from only 2500 rpm.
The performance specs are on par with most sports cars; Mercedes-E43 4Matic accelerates up to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and its top speed is limited to 250 km/h.
