Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet
For 2002, Porsche has given the
Porsche 911 Carerra models a larger, more powerful 3.6 liter engine that ups the horsepower from 300 to 320. This change makes these cars amongst the quickest and fastest normally aspirated 911 models ever available in North America. Other changes to the engine increasing torque, making them more responsive.
All of the 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera models benefit from an increased body strength, which improves handling, safety and ride. The interior and a new seatbelt pre-tensioner and limiter system is also included. 2002 models come with an optional Bose digital sound system too.
The model line-up includes a Carrera Coupe and Cabriolet, and an all-wheel drive Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet. The Coupes also have rear seatbacks that can be folded flat, creating a cargo floor space, while the Cabriolet models have a soft-top that stows neatly behind the back seats and a flush-fitting tonneau cover. For 2002, the Cabriolet models get an upgrade to a glass rear window with integrated defroster.
