The Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is the ideal combination of the 911 Carrera and 911 Turbo models. With its 320-horsepower normally aspirated engine, all-wheel-drive chassis, and Turbo body design, the 2002 model is the most powerful 911 model to be offered in North America. It replaces the 911 Carrera 4 Coupe and retails for an MSRP of $80,200 ($117,500 in Canada).
The Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is the third new model to join the 911 Series for 2002, following the redesigned 911 Carrera and the 911 Targa. It also features the same 3.6-liter, 320-horsepower engine as the newly introduced Porsche 911 Carrera range. The body of the 911 Carrera 4S measures 2.3 inches (60-mm) wider in the rear compared to the other models to accommodate huge 295/30R-18 rear tires. It also comes with the iconic Turbo-style wheels and red-painted brake calipers for a distinct look. With the new model, Porsche is offering metallic paint choices at no additional cost.
