Seat Altea Concept 2003 posters

Seat Altea Concept

The SEAT Altea is a compact MPV designed by the Italian Walter de'Silva and released in 2004, with the current Toledo being an updated version. It was designed as the first example of SEAT's new corporate look and was expected to do well, but exceeded expectations by selling 31,223 Alteas in its first year. Whilst family-friendly and 5-seater in design, it attempts to have a sportier image than its competitors. It is based on the Volkswagen Group A platform, the same as its sister cars the Volkswagen Golf Plus and Volkswagen Touran. For safety, the Altea has a five star EuroNCAP rating. Trim levels consist of Essence, Reference, Reference Sport, Stylance, Sport and FR, with eleven engines available ranging from 1.2 TSI to the 2.0 FR TDI that delivers 170 bhp, available since April 2006.
